Munich at night

Walking along the Munich streets at night was a sight. I was blessed with great weather, not too cold and there was no rain apart from the first night. Everyone was out enjoying the atmosphere, tourists and locals alike.



The shops there close quite early, so I had no hopes of shopping. Besides, I had limited euros with me, so shopping was just a dream, hehe. Looking at the window displays was enough to satisfy me and they had some pretty good ones!



Outdoor cafes were aplenty and everybody was out drinking beer, chatting with friends, eating, creating a lively atmosphere. And in some places, there was nobody around, and it felt calm and serene. Imagine you are alone walking, surrounded by silence, the lovely architecture and the soft orange glow of the street lamps and the display windows.



There were also a lot of street musicians displaying their talents on the streets. Some were really, really good and I just stood there listening to them. They have their own CDs for sale if you are so inclined to buy it and tokens of appreciations are always welcomed.
