Residenz Palace - the outside view

Residenz Palace

I am taking a break now from the addictive Grow games. Damn....I still can't solve it! So, moving on to more "easier" things, this is the Residenz Palace - or rather the corner of a part of the Residenz, the Königsbau.

Residenz Palace

This is the full view of the Königsbau building, which is situated in the Max-Joseph Platz. You can see the monument of King Max 1. Joseph on the right. Unfortunately, I had no time to explore the Residenz palace. From what I had seen, it is impressive and the interior is no doubt even more interesting.

Max-Joseph Platz and the Main Post Office

And this is the Main Post Office. Impressive isn't it? I had thought it was another part of the Residenz Palace. While we were there, we saw the policemen citing bicyclists for cycling too fast in the area.

Max-Joseph Platz and the National Theater

The sky was absolutely awesome that day, blue with streaks of clouds. Loved it. You can see the National Theater, right behind the monument.

Residenz Palace

Inside one of the courtyards of the Residenz. I don't have much to say about the Residenz actually, since I did not go in. All I know is that the place is huge. Next time maybe......

Residenz Palace, Max-Joseph Platz, National Theater and the Main Post Office

Now you can see all three buildings: part of the Residenz on the left, the National Theater in the middle, and the Main Post Office on the right.

Residenz Palace and the Max-Joseph Platz

I had been there during night and day and I have to say, each view has its charms.
