Munich Part 1
I have not been updating my blog for the past month! This is the longest I had been away from my blog. My humblest apologies to anyone who had been following my posts. So now I am back! First post for this month will be about Munich, a trip I undertook recently to see my childhood friend who is currently residing there with her family.
My first batch of pictures are all of Munich's city views taken from Frauenkirche's (Church of our Lady) tower. It has a fantastic view of the city - of course, for a price of 3 euros I think. In the first picture you can see the Residenz Palace, Odeonsplatz and Theatinerkirche. The second picture shows the famous Marienplatz.
This is the close up of Marienplatz where you can see the Old Town Hall. However, since I am facing the wrong way, the famous New Town Hall could not be seen in this picture. You can also see the famous St Peter's Church.
And here it is in B&W. I seem to prefer it in B&W......
And this is the close up of Theatinerkirche (Theatiner church) - the building in yellow with the big dome situated in Odeonsplatz and the patches of green far off is the Hofgardens I think.
Another view of Munich city, this time of the shopping places I think.....
