Glorious autumn part 2
Since spring is already here, though by the unpredictable weather, you might still think it is winter some days, I thought I should update the Glorious autumn part 2 post before I start posting pictures of haru (spring). Autumn....truly beautiful.
This picture was taken at the Shugakuin Imperial Palace grounds. This particular tree stood out because the leaves were magnificently red and the sun was just shining at the right spot.
The yellow leaves stood out against the green moss. Looks like a picture for those calender prints doesn't it?
Again, on the grounds of the Shugakuin Imperial Villa.
Shugakuin Imperial Villa grounds. Picture taken at the top of a small hill which has an excellent view of the entire villa.
A close up view of the maple leaves
On the grounds of Nanzenji.
On the grounds of Shinsendo (?) I think.......hmmm......Picture is a bit blur.
I had forgotten where this picture was taken.....my fault, should have written it down the moment I uploaded it to the computer. Thought that the pagoda was a nice background.
