Happy Chinese New Year!

Finally! I am home to celebrate the Chinese New Year this year, after having missed out on five occasions! Being home is good - delicious new year food (although the chopping of the veggies left my hand numb now!), the sales, and of course, family!

Of course one has to endure the heat and the humidity and those pesky little mosquitoes!

I was in KL for a couple of days and prior to the Chinese New Year celebrations, they had daily lion dance performances in KLCC for the benefit of the tourists. Although I must say Malaysia has better lion dance performances than this! After all, weren't we the champions?

I have to say I definitely miss celebrating Chinese New Year with the family. Now, I don't have to dream about the new year dishes but can actually eat them! What bliss!

Happy Chinese New Year!!
