Kamogawa ducks

We were taking shelter underneath the bridge during a torrential downpour, one of the heaviest I have ever seen in Kyoto, when several ducks decided to climb up the river banks to get away from the fast-rising muddy water. I thought that the patterns on their feathers will stand out better in black and white so I shot several pictures of them.
