The Whale Shark



It never fails to amaze me - the beauty of Kaiyukan. I can only imagine what it would be like diving into the depths of the ocean, a mere spectator to the myriad of sea creatures that inhabit that corner of the earth. But since I have this fear of the unknown, I do not think I will be diving anytime soon and I have to rely on this man-made ocean to satisfy my curiosity.



Without a doubt, the Pacific tank is the most popular exhibit, home to the whale sharks and my personal favourite, the manta ray. It is huge and you end up circling the tank round and round as you make your way through the aquarium. Although I have been here at least 3 times and have taken so many pictures, I always find that there is something new to catch or a different angle I have not yet explore.
